OVERVIEW

AwesomeSomewhere is a movement that inspires teens to believe they can be awesome and equips them with the mindset, mission, and method they'll need to figure out where. The primary means of spreading the impact is through motivational talks for teens and workshops for educators and parents.

MINDSET
Teens are introduced to the two foundational beliefs they need to adopt in order to avoid nagging negativity and limiting beliefs that can cause self-sabotage.

MISSION
Teens are introduced to the definition of true success and are challenged to accept the singular mission that will enable them to stay focused and on track.

METHOD
Teens are introduced to a simple process they can use to evaluate career options to know what they're getting into and discern a good fit.

OUTCOMES

REPAIR CONFIDENCE
Teens are empowered to repair confidence in themselves and overcome the lies, labels, and limitations that can destroy their self-esteem.

REMOVE CONFUSION
Teens are empowered to remove confusion regarding what a career of interest actually involves and whether or not it would be worth further exploration in order to avoid regretful choices.

RESIST COMPARISON AND CONFORMITY
Teens are empowered to resist comparison and conformity to society and other people so they're not influenced away from true success or forced into a future that doesn't feel like a fit.

Creations can include things like . . . 

1. Physical objects like paintings, sculpture, pottery, metal works, wood items, etc.
2. Digital art
3. Poetry
4. Songs
5. Spoken word

 If you’re interested in creating, please keep these basic guidelines in mind.

1. Creations should clearly be connected to AwesomeSomewhere either through incorporating the logo, the name, or the three key objectives of restore(confidence), resist(conformity), and reboot(clarity).
2. Creations should avoid nudity of any sort. 
3. Digital submissions can be used by Awesome Somewhere at will without permission of the creator.
4. Original pieces can be shipped to Awesome Somewhere and will be used as office decor or will be used in auctions for charitable fundraisers.
